The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is the oldest social service organization in the country that serves adults and seniors who are blind or visually impaired. Founded in 1903 as the Massachusetts Association for Promoting the Interest of the Adult Blind, today our dedicated team, volunteers and support groups are here to support those who are aging into vision loss.
MABVI empowers individuals to continue to lead full lives, whether you are experiencing vision loss or have been blind since youth. Vision rehabilitation, access technology training, volunteer help, counseling, and peer support services are comprehensive, cost-effective, high-quality services that are often life-altering. A list of services in multiple languages is available here.
