Dr. Mona Minkara – Planes, Trains & Canes

The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is proudly sponsoring season two of the web series Planes, Trains, & Canes (PTC)with Dr. Mona Minkara. PTC seeks to understand cultural perceptions about disabilities, such as blindness. This global travel series combines her passion for adventure, love for public transportation, and interest in accessibility.

Dr. Mona Minkara is a professor of bioengineering at Northeastern University and a winner of the prestigious Holman Prize for Blind Ambition (2019).
